These days low metal loft beds are available in different sizes, configurations, finishes and even heights. On this page you will find a few of the most popular models made by reputable manufacturers such as Walker Edison and DHP. Full review for each of these beds is just a click away.
Twin Size Metal Low Loft Beds
DHP’s Jett Junior sports a classic, no-frills design. All circular steel tubes, rounded corners, simple but elegant frame. Available in 5 finishes, it will really fit just about anywhere.
The Monarch Hill Haven Junior loft, on the other hand, with its robust build and the gold guardrail highlight is more of a higher-end product. And comes with a price that reflects that ambition.
Full Size Low Metal Loft Beds
There’s precious few full size low metal loft beds to be found out there. DHP’s Jett Junior is a wider cousin of the loft featured above. Same design, but it accepts a full size mattress and is available in 3 colors only.
That Alistair loft is something else, though. It’s barely over 40 inches tall (which is the lowest loft bed I’ve seen), but comes with a built in LED brimmed desk and a shelf underneath for a complete hi-tech gaming setup.
Metal Low Loft Beds With Slide
Both DHP’s Laurie Junior and the Giantex low loft bed peak at a mere 42 inches. Parents often use these to transition their toddlers to their first big girl/boy bed. Needless to say, the included slides serve as a big incentive to youngsters who may be reluctant to change their sleeping accommodations.
The slides shown here feature a relatively gentle slope, which is good for safety reasons. You don’t want the kids to hit the ground with excessive speed. That does mean the slides take up a hefty amount of space, though, so you’ll need to make sure they can fit in your room before hitting the ‘Buy’ button. You can find more information about it in the full reviews.
Low metal loft beds have become increasingly popular in recent years, offering a practical and stylish solution for maximizing space in smaller rooms. Such beds are particularly favored in urban apartments, dorm rooms, but perhaps most of all in children’s bedrooms where space efficiency is essential.
Metal as a material is well suited for loft bed production; it is considered to be long lasting and durable. Beds made of sturdy metal frames can take a lot of wear and tear, which is not unimportant, considering that plenty of loft bed users have a bit of a rambunctious side to them.
Metal low line loft beds are particularly popular with parents who are somewhat nervous about letting their precious ones sleep on such high a platform as regular loft beds provide; a lower height bed can be a good compromise in such a situation. And metal low loft beds will provide that compromise on a budget, as they are usually significantly more affordable than their wooden counterparts.
