Introduction
There are low loft beds and then there are really low loft beds and, at just over 40 inches of height, the Alistair Full Metal Gaming Low Loft Bed (branded DEYOBED on Amazon) is a really low one. The attached LED brimmed desk and a shelf underneath indicate this is meant be a full-blown hi-tech gaming setup.
That said, parents often use such low lofts to transfer their toddlers to their first ‘big’ bed and there is no reason why that couldn’t be the case here. In fact, with its really low height, the Alistair gaming loft is possibly even more suited for the purpose. And then, when the time comes, when the kid gets a little bigger, attach the desk and let the games begin!

The under bed clearance is 28 inches with this bed, which is not much, but might still be enough to create a play nook for a smaller child. It’ll definitely serve well as storage space, though, especially considering that this is a full-size bed so, despite its low height, there is quite a bit of volume under there.
The guardrail here is specified at 12.4 inches which is, you know, so-so, but enough to accommodate the 6 inch mattress recommended by the manufacturer.
The tiny ladder is angled and protrudes into the room some. The rungs are flat but quite thin and do not look like they can offer much comfort when climbing. That said, there are only two of them. A bit older kids might not even need a ladder for a bed so low.
The Alistair Full Metal Loft Bed has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. This is a decent enough figure, especially compared to most of the other metal loft beds which are by and large made to withstand 200 lbs of weight. That said, this is a full size bed and as such is expected to be able to take on a bit of extra load. After all, a gaming setup like this is intended more for tweens and teens, or even young adults.
What Users Say
I have found, at the time of this writing, exactly zero user opinions on this bed out there so users haven’t really said anything yet. When that changes I’ll be sure to update this page.
