Wooden Twin Loft Beds With Desk
Let’s start with Max & Lily’s Classic twin loft bed. It’s made of solid pine wood and offers an excellent 400 lbs weight limit. The guardrail is 14 inches high, which means you can use an 8 inch mattress and still be comfortably within the prescribed safety standards. The desk is 15.5 inches deep, spans the entire bed’s width and sort of wraps around the user. Those 4 shelves underneath the side surfaces are almost mandatory. This here is the same bed as above, but bundled with a different desk. A much smaller one. It is 15 inches deep, which is nothing to sneeze at, but the width is the same as the bed itself: 41.5 inches. It’s still a decent desk for homework and such, just not as luxurious as the wraparound version featured above. But. This configuration is more flexible, as you can place the desk on the outside as pictured above, or on the inside, depending on what your circumstances call for. Which potentially leaves a lot of space under the bed for other purposes. For example, there is a version of this twin size loft bed with desk that includes a spacious built-in bookcase.
Hillsdale’s Caspian twin loft bed follows the same philosophy as the Classic loft above, with the desk fixed at one end of the bed. Except in this case the desk is actually fixed as seen in the image, it’s not possible to place it on the outside of the bed. Metal Twin Size Loft Beds With Desk
If metal loft beds are more your cup of tea, you might not need to look further than Walker Edison’s Sunset workstation here. It has everything twin loft beds with desk are supposed to have. DHP’s Abode loft bed features a desk built into the headboard. At 39 inches of width and 16 inches of depth it’s not a particularly big desk, but: combined with a little pinboard to the left and two storage shelves to the right, it makes for a nice homework nook. The loft bed itself looks pretty sleek and refreshing, what with the two-ladder design and all. The rungs on the ladders are flat and not too narrow, so the climbing should not be too uncomfortable. I’m mentioning this because even relatively comfortable ladders are such a rarity when it comes to loft beds made of metal.
Low Height Twin Loft Beds With Desk
Yes, there are low twin loft beds with desk. Obviously the desk has to be of the pull-out variety, but that makes it none the less efficient. Here we have the Max & Lily Classic low loft. If you are more into rural, farmhouse design style, the Modern Farmhouse twin low loft bed with desk will be right up your alley. Wide rounded planks, distressed finish, the works. The desk here actually hooks to the side rail. When not needed, I guess you just slip it underneath and hook it to the other side of the bed. The desk surface is 31.5 inches wide and just short of 16 inches deep. This bed too can be supplemented with some tailor-made storage solutions.
