White is a very popular color when it comes to bunk beds and it’s no wonder: a piece of white furniture will freshen up any room and make it more lively and upbeat and pleasant to stay in. Parents more often choose white beds for girls’ rooms, as they do have a bit of a feminine air about them. On the other hand, white is also considered a neutral color, so it’s certainly not a wrong choice for a boy either.
One thing that needs to be pointed out is that not all white finishes are the same. While most of the products featured here come in the regular pure white, there are also quite a few shades available that span the white specter from pure to creamy and may also feature different levels of distressing. So, be sure to get yourself informed about the exact color of the product before making a purchase so that there aren’t any surprises when you open the box.

Twin Over Twin White Bunk Beds

The Modern Farmhouse twin over full pictured above is an example of a bunk bed with a distressed finish that brings out the natural wood grain, going for that rustic vibe. In other words, avoid that one if you want the smooth and shiny pure white finish.

Another finish alert. The Ahmia white bunk bed is not of the pure white sort. It features a wire-brushed finish which brings out the natural grain of the wood. A farmhouse sort of style. It’s not shiny white and smooth like the Classic is.
Metal White Bunk Beds
The finish on the Daury bed does not look quite as white and shiny as it does on the Powell bed, but that may just be the vagaries of digital photography. The Powell looks more expensive overall, I have to say, not just because of the finish. And, well, it is.
