The Space Savers collection was Berg’s first foray into storage efficient children’s furniture. It was designed to resolve or at least alleviate space and storage issues many people have to cope with, the end result being a collection of unique products, constructed, as they like to say at Berg, the old fashioned way: good materials, high quality hardware and excellent American workmanship.
The common denominator to all Space Saver loft bunk beds is storage space. Drawers. And lots of them. Whatever model you decide on — the twin/twin with desk (12 drawers), or perhaps the single loft design with 2 chests (17 drawers) — any disarray in you child’s room you might still be faced with will not be due to the lack of storage space.
Then there is versatility. The Space Saver bedroom systems come in twin over twin, twin over full, or single twin loft bed variants. You can choose a model with desk, or chest, or both. Or get a system with two chests if a vast amount of storage is what you’re after.
Needless to say, all of these models come with the staircase that has become Berg’s signature feature; it provides a comfortable and above all safe access to the top bunk and is the main reason why Berg bunk and low loft beds are considered among the safest out there.
