When I was a kid I desperately wanted a bunk bed. I begged and pleaded with my parents to get me one, but to no avail. Our family situation, to my misfortune, was such that it did not call for such an extravagance. I only had one brother and we each had our own room with our own regular boring bed. We just didn’t need a bunk bed. Plus I think my mom thought they were not safe, although she never said as much. Always the worrier, my mom. And so my childhood wish remained unfulfilled. Possibly because of that, my fascination with bunk beds survived to this day — hence this website.
The objective of it is to help you find the best bunk bed or loft bed for your needs. Only products from well known manufacturers and reputable importers are featured here — no merchandise of unknown origins and dubious quality. The majority of reviews — and to an extent the decision whether or not any given bunk bed will appear at this site at all — are based on user opinions: I am continually scouring the many shopping oriented sites out there and transforming the gathered information into concise reports on individual products with the accent on quality and durability, design, comfort, ease of assembly and sometimes the price. Note that BunkBeds-HQ.com is not an online store. You can’t buy a bunk bed here.
