Twin Size Low Loft Beds
Here are a couple of bare-bones twin size low lofts for you. One is the Max & Lily classic low loft and the other is from the Camaflexi brand. Both are made of solid wood, boast a respectable weight capacity and have gathered hundreds of positive reviews.
Full Size Low Height Loft Beds
Full size low loft beds are actually a bit of a rarity. The Tribeca is the big brother of the twin sized version by Camaflexi featured above with well over 1000 5-star ratings behind it. The Jasinto bed features good specs as well, but at the time of this writing is yet to gather any reviews, good or bad, so you’d be taking a bit of leap into unknown.
Low Loft Beds With Slide

Low Line Loft Beds With Tent

So you have a bit of a situation on your hands. Your little one is all over you to buy him/her a loft bed, but you dwell on it: sure, bunk beds and loft beds are nice and kids love them and they can certainly be very useful when it comes to saving some space in a cramped room — that’s especially true for those elaborate configurations with tons of storage drawers built in — but there are some safety considerations involved here too and you just aren’t sure your kid is ready for this sort of responsibility. It’s not for nothing that they recommend children should be at least six years old before they are allowed on the top bunk.
So, what to do? Well, one solution is right in front of you: low loft beds. Most of these are under 50 inches high, with the mattress lying less than 40 inches off the ground — this fact alone should remove most of the safety concerns you might have. If you’re still not convinced, check out the low lofts with built-in staircase. These offer an easy and secure access to the bed and are without doubt the safest solution around.
Another reason for getting a low loft bed might be if you have a low ceiling situation but you still want your kid to have that loft bed experience and perhaps save some space as well.
